Inuyasha Confirmed To Return With New Sequel (Fall 2020)

'Inuyasha' Sequel Announced Starring Daughters of Inuyasha — Kagome and Sesshomaru

A sequel series based in the world of the iconic Inuyasha manga/anime is in production and will feature the daughters of Inuyasha, Kagome and Sesshomaru.

Inuyasha a Japanese Manga series which includes genre like Adventure, Fantasy, and Romance. There were almost 56 volumes. The first Inuyasha anime adaption was released on Yomiuri TV in Japan. There were 167 episodes and the last episode was aired on September 13, 2004. Inuyasha: The Final Act was released on October 3, 2009, and the last episode was aired on March 29, 2010. It was having 26 episodes. There were films and video games that were almost based on this series.

Japanese production company Sunrise will bring back the franchise in the upcoming new series, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon with Viz Media owning the rights to handle digital streaming, electronic and home video sales in North America and Latin America.

Rumiko Takahashi, released more details stating that sequel series will center around the children of the characters from the original InuYasha.

We can expect that the first episode could be released at the end of 2020
